Reventus joined North London Hospice’s 50 for 50 campaign to help raise a minimum of £1000. The idea is 50 companies all take the same challenge to help them raise at least £50,000 within a year. 

 

Reventus take this challenge seriously. Having already funds in excess £1500, we have raised the bar to try and reach the £5000. By arranging a bonus ball lottery, a quiz night, and having planned future events it has been great to see our friends coming together to help us support this important cause. 

 

So, what are North London Hospice going to do with the money that these 50 companies are working hard to raise for them? 

 

 

Over the past year, out of hours calls from patients, family members and other NHS services have tripled. This service has become essential to the community. However, North London Hospice’s Out of Hours Service requires a significant amount of funding, and the NHS provides only 40% of the funds they need. 

 

For North London Hospice to continue to provide free-of-charge, end of life care to their community, they must raise £434,000. This helps provide an overnight service that ensures patients can receive urgent care and advice when they need it most. These funds will give patients access to a rapid response nurse for emergency visits. 

 

 

Reventus understand the importance of North London Hospice’s service. Over 3000 people in their community rely upon them, and we are proud to being contributing to help them avoid closure.
