Autumn Community Update
COMMUNITY NEWS
At Reventus, we believe in supporting our local community and wanted to share with you a few of the things that we have been up to.
Hertford & District Foodbank
We enjoy an opportunity to dress up and Halloween this year was no different. Although we forgot to take any photos there were some great costumes and everyone that dressed up donated to Hertford & District Foodbank. We were so pleased when we raised £125 from our colleagues and decided to match this, which meant we were able to donate £250 to the foodbank.
They will put the money towards a project they are running this Christmas in conjunction with “Christmas Alone”, a local project that gives older and lonely people the opportunity to spend Christmas Together with a lunch, they are providing Christmas Hampers instead as it looks as if it will not be happening this year.
The Felix Project
Two colleagues from our Welfare Team, volunteered at The Felix Project, who provide a food distribution service. The Felix Project receive large boxes of fresh food, including fresh vegetables that require splitting down from the original packaging and separating into crates for transporting to local charities and schools.
North London Hospice – Reventus Chosen Charity for 2021
We have chosen North London Hospice as our charity for the coming year and have signed up to their 50 for 50 in 2020 campaign. This campaign is for 50 companies each targeted to raise £1000 during a year to raise £50,000.
More on this over the coming months, where we will share our fundraising activities and will also be setting up a Just Giving Page. If your visiting our offices, you will also notice our collection pot and it would be great if you could help out with some spare change.
